THE FRIENDS OF THE LIGHT HOUSE SHELTER is a community based organization which hosts local events to support the Light House in Annapolis, Maryland.

From biking a 10K with your family to attending a live auction gala, we are sure that you will find something that you love to do with your friends and neighbors, while supporting a homeless prevention support center for women, men and children in Anne Arundel County. You may even find something new and exciting to enjoy every year, so please take a minute to look around and find out what it means to "Rebuild Lives".

Because the FLHS consists of volunteer board members and only one staff person, a full 90% of what we raise goes directly to support the operating expenses of the Light House.

We are always looking for new community members to join our group, join an event committee, or just volunteer to help out once in awhile. If you are interested in working with a dynamic Board to provide the most vulnurable citizens of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County with the resources they need to "get back on their feet", please contact us!
